5 card Thursday!

I don't usually post a whole bunch of projects at once...
as there are several contests going on here...sorry!

I like to try a variety of techniques, layouts and styles...
Sometimes I think my cards all have the same
elements, but they are all going to different people...
so who cares--right?

Monday is cut out and foam mounted...
Background is part embossed mounted on patterned paper...

This couple is cut out and UTEE heat embossed for a shiny thick "sticker-like" look!
Mounted on nesties, foam mounted on sparkly patterned paper...

This expecting one is for my neighbor...
Simple with a vibrant floral...
This one is done with paper piecing her shirt to match the background.
I am entering this card in Simon Says Stamp Challenge...

I am totally inspired by The Dark Mermaid: Randi and decided to try out other techniques.
She always makes these sparkly, pastel, shabby looking images...
I am just trying to copy her vibe with the materials I own already...
So I used Camille and did the same process that I did with Rio yesterday,
except I added sparkle!
I love the cracked glass...
This card is for the Dutch Dare Challenges for a vintage summer...

I love this diamond plate embossing folder!
Every man card should include it!
I made this for my father-in-law, who is always
fixing things when he comes to visit!

Thanks for looking!
