Beach House Beauty!

My daughter just won this new London image
I love it!

Hard to tell, but I kinda went for the "wet look" in this pic!

Anniversary card for brother...

This is for my brother and sis-in-law's wedding anniversary next month.
They look exactly like this!

I am also entering this in the Farm King and Queen Challenge at the Greeting Farm...
Not that I think that they are the perfect match, but any of the chicks looks great next to Edward!
Which actually gives me an idea...

5 card Thursday!

I don't usually post a whole bunch of projects at once...
as there are several contests going on here...sorry!

I like to try a variety of techniques, layouts and styles...
Sometimes I think my cards all have the same
elements, but they are all going to different people...
so who cares--right?

Monday is cut out and foam mounted...
Background is part embossed mounted on patterned paper...

This couple is cut out and UTEE heat embossed for a shiny thick "sticker-like" look!
Mounted on nesties, foam mounted on sparkly patterned paper...

This expecting one is for my neighbor...
Simple with a vibrant floral...
This one is done with paper piecing her shirt to match the background.
I am entering this card in Simon Says Stamp Challenge...

I am totally inspired by The Dark Mermaid: Randi and decided to try out other techniques.
She always makes these sparkly, pastel, shabby looking images...
I am just trying to copy her vibe with the materials I own already...
So I used Camille and did the same process that I did with Rio yesterday,
except I added sparkle!
I love the cracked glass...
This card is for the Dutch Dare Challenges for a vintage summer...

I love this diamond plate embossing folder!
Every man card should include it!
I made this for my father-in-law, who is always
fixing things when he comes to visit!

Thanks for looking!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall...

This picture was taken with flash...it looks a little washed out
I loved making this card!
I did the Rio in the center in bright primary colors, the Rio on the left in sepia tones and the Rio on the right is a funky negative version.
I used UTEE and embossed the entire picture 3 or 4 times, put it in the freezer and then cracked it and inked it!
I love how she turned out!

This picture was taken without the flash

You are my Sunshine!

I made this card for the spray ink challenge at Club Anya!
I made the paper with my reinkers, primary colors.
I had red, blue, yellow and every shade in between splattered on my hands!

When I finished, I thought it looked like a sunburst, so you are my sunshine came to mind.
I used metallic rub-on stuff (I found at a yard sale) to add some shimmer where the colors kinda turned brown and gray!
Love flirty Anya, she seemed the perfect fit!
Thanks for looking!

Magnet mix-ups!

This are my magnets for Whatcha tootin' about Wedenesday
at the Greeting Farm/Club Anya!

I didn't want to copy the tutorial exactly, but I love these creepers and thought it would be so fun to mix and match their heads to bodies! I cut the images out so you can see the clear glass to the surface of whatever they are on! I love them!
